I am a painter and stop motion animation film director

The subject of my works mainly connected to everyday life events.

 

Generally my work starts from the observation. However the need for the emphasizing an emotional content of the subject often leads me to rework my observational sketches until I find the most intense tune, color, movement or face expression that conveys an unseen implication of the scene that I paint or animate.

​

I aim to express a sense of compassion and irony, close contemplation and a distant point of view.

​

My hometown is St.Petersburg. I lived and studied art in Jerusalem, Paris and London, currently live in Yaffo.
